COEUR DE LION jewellery is made exclusively from exquisite materials that can be used for a wide range of shapes and colours. Our materials also have to be extremely durable and resistant to wear and tear. This is the only way to guarantee that timelessly stunning designs are transformed into timelessly stunning jewellery.

Polaris resin and tiger’s eye are hard to beat when it comes to their colour effects and versatility. This is why Coeur de Lion is so keen to use these materials in their multi-colour optical creations. Furthermore, polaris resin can be finished seamlessly and so is not only beautifully shaped but also strong.

Glass has always been a feature of Coeur de Lion jewellery with some unique pieces incorporating exclusively hand worked glass.

Diamond-cut anodised aluminium boasts a silky sheen. It is also highly versatile and incredibly durable. The aluminium components are machined using diamond lathes, creating an absolutely smooth surface. During anodisation, an advanced process is also used to refine the colour: a protective oxide layer just a few nanometres thick is applied to the aluminium to protect it from corrosion and enhance the colour.

Many of the COEUR DE LION statement pieces feature Swarovski® Crystals, creating light refracting, eye catching jewellery that simply sparkles. 

Swarovski® Crystal Pearls are also utilised in the Coeur de Lion collection - these are simulated pearls that are made with a crystal core. Their unparalleled harmonious and lustrous shimmer is achieved using a unique coating technology developed by Swarovski.

A firm feature of COEUR DE LION jewellery is 316L stainless steel. It is a particularly high-calibre material that does not tarnish and is also very hard-wearing. This attractive metal is not only used in necklaces and bracelets but also features in the extension chains, the clasps and our OE seal of quality. The majority of earring studs and hooks are made of rhodium-plated sterling silver.
